The Constitutional Principles - Foundations Part 1

It's imperative that Americans wake up.  I don't mean to the alarm clock in the morning where you will face another day of getting the kids off to school and working to make ends meet.  Rather I mean wake up to the blaring alarm of your eroding liberty.  The gonging ring of the looting of America from within.

There are no easy terms to apply to this to make it all readily apparent to everyone.  There is plenty of room at any given time for people to convince themselves that everything is all right.  It's easy to be soothed by the subtle seduction of people like Tommy Franks, George Bush, Bill Clinton...  The list goes on.  But I assure you that if you take a bit of time, open your mind and your eyes, the corruption, looting, and decay are easy to see.

If you haven't ever really taken the time to read the U.S. Constitution, I implore you to do so.  Not tomorrow, not later, but right now.

The Constitution

It really very specific about things.  It delegates certain powers to the Federal Government and then plainly dictates that all other powers reside with the States.

After reading the Constitution, please take the time to read or review Washington's Farewell Address.

Washington's Address

It too provides very clear and prescriptive guidance on how we should or rather must conduct ourselves as a Nation if we are to survive.  Unfortunately we've broken almost all the rules or rather guidance he provided.  Today we are just starting to pay the true price of ignoring this wisdom.

We must as a people begin to hold our elected officials accountable for their actions.  We must demand our issues be addressed.  We cannot continue to have the will of the people waved off as unimportant, our laws ignored by our elected officials.  This is a Republic, of the People, by the People, and for the People.

There are a great many things that are readily apparent to me now that were not so apparent even six months ago.  I've known for a long time that things were not right, that there was always more to the story, but about a year ago I began to really pay attention, to re-educate myself.  It's not an easy task and is quite akin to the pill discussion in the Matrix.  Which one are you gonna take?

I hope that you will seek truth.  The truth may not always be readily apparent, but it usually is, as long as you're actually looking for it.  I will continue to post materials to this blog that can be used to re-educate yourself or others.  The only thing I can assure you of is that the truth isn't pretty.  The years of lies and half-truths, the corruption of our educational system, the systemic betrayal of our culture, neighbors, and even our freedom.
