There is a terrible stink that is descending on America.  Perhaps that is not the right way to refer to this situation.  Perhaps it is more that there is a terrible stink rising from the rotting carcass of what was once America.  Strong words you say?  I’ll not deny that.  Indeed they are.  But then again these are very troubling times.

What has happened to my brothers and sisters?  Those who once could call themselves Americans with pride?  It is hard to be proud when one is not righteous.  America is no longer righteous.

If you haven’t already, do some searches on the torture legislation and debate.  I’m torn whether to go to the trouble to post links in this or not.  I’m not sure I should.  Maybe people should get off their asses and go look for themselves.  The very fact that there can be a debate about America using torture, secret prisons, detaining even American citizens without Habeas Corpus, and of course the famous “crushing of children’s genitals in front of their parents” is reason enough to call the time of death on America.

The entire debate is so anti everything this country stands for and the principles it was built on that just be its existence for more than 10 minutes, tells me we’ve crossed over.  We’ve become no better than the British government we separated from.  You remember, the one you were so repulsed by when you watched The Patriot and saw the Dragoons burn all those people alive in the church?

The Americans:  “That’s horrific, you are monsters!”

The British: "We are finding terrorists and bringing them to justice. We are gathering information about where the terrorists may be hiding. We are trying to disrupt their plots and plans."

Well OK that was actually Fuhrer Bush in November 2005.

Fuhrer Bush?  Yes that is what I said.  Even at the risk of being labeled an “enemy combatant.”  After all there is a great deal of evidence to prove the ties of Prescott Bush to the Nazi regime.

That’s just one article feel free to search for more, it gets most of the idea across but there is actually more to the story.  But really it does a decent job of tying the Bush family to the Nazi rise to power.  Let’s not forget that Bush is an adapted German name as well.

Then again this is a President (term used loosely) that has no respect for the Constitution and certainly none for the flag so many have died for.

If you look at events today and really pay attention, as well as spend some time researching the psychological side of Hitler’s rise to power you will see very alarming parallels to today.  But that should be no surprise.  After all, the art of politics and social control is a very old one.  Thousands of years of refinement have already taken place and through history the same methods have been used over and over. 

If you want to be truly alarmed take a look at the Patriot Act and this most recent torture legislation issue and then go do some research on German newspaper articles in the late 30’s talking about “The Enemies of Freedom” and how they would be resisted and crushed…  Yes that was Hitler talking about the communists as the enemies of freedom and how he would crush the enemies of freedom.  Yeah, I know it’s confusing given that it sounds like a headline from 2001-2006 not 1939.  Like I said the game isn’t new.
